Nice! It’s an underrated lens and perspective.

I love the “into me see” that Matteo gets from his subjects with this lens. Anything bigger, and they’d be intimidated, rather than natural. They’re interacting with a human who happens to be carrying a small camera, rather than interacting with a camera that happens to have a human behind it.

I once bought an entire Olympus OM film system that included the OM Zuiko 16mm fisheye. I thought I was going to quickly sell it, but then, I began using it, and was hooked! So when I got into OM-D, the 9mm lens cap was one of the first lenses I bought.

Thank you for your comment Jan!
Matteo does not stop surprising us, with an extraordinary work that he does using simple cameras, especially small compact ones.
And yes, nobody is talking about the 9mm lens cap fisheye but it is a perfectly capable lens.

      Ciao Jan,

thanks for the support! My mantra is: the eyes before lenses&cameras! That’s a pragmatic way of life photography? No, just the Natural One. Cheap lenses help me to discover new ways in the everyday urban wilderness. Best, Matteo
