My Olympus Journey
Hello, everyone. My name is Umut Aydin. I am a 24-year-old dentist who enjoys photography as a hobby.
I’ve been using Olympus products for two years now. Previously, I worked with the Nikon D5200 (crop sensor) and Nikon D800 (full-frame). Recently, I made the switch to the Olympus E-M10 Mark III. Now, allow me to explain the reasons behind my decision to switch to Olympus.

The feature that appeals to me most is undoubtedly its stabilised sensor, which provides clear photographs even at low ISO values. The second factor is its compactness. I also appreciate the ease of use and convenient access to every button.
The quality of professional-grade lenses, in particular, is absolutely impeccable. I am currently using the 12-40mm F2.8 and 40-150mm F2.8 PRO lenses, which are excellent in terms of optical quality.

I haven’t had the opportunity to try out the live ND feature of the new cameras yet, but it seems to be a truly essential feature.
Moving forward, the next camera I plan to switch to is the OM System OM-1 Mark II, which I am eager to try, paired with the 150-400mm lens, of course.
I wholeheartedly recommend Olympus cameras and lenses to everyone.
I would like to express my gratitude to Olympus Passion for granting me the opportunity to write this article.
